Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as 'Terms') establish the conditions for using the services (hereinafter referred to as 'Services') provided by Tokyo Manga Sensei (hereinafter referred to as 'we' or 'us'). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships between users and us regarding the use of our Services.

Article 2 (Registration)

Those who wish to use our Services must apply for registration according to our specified method, and registration is completed upon our approval.

Article 3 (Reservations and Cancellations)

1. Users can make lesson reservations through our Services.

2. Cancellations up to 3 days before are free. For cancellations 2 days before, we charge 50% of the lesson fee, and for cancellations the day before or on the day, we charge 100% as a cancellation fee.

3. We may change or cancel reservations due to instructor circumstances or force majeure events such as natural disasters. In such cases, we will promptly notify users.

Article 4 (Prohibited Actions)

Users must not engage in the following actions when using our Services:

1. Actions that violate laws or public order and morality
2. Actions related to criminal activities
3. Actions that destroy or interfere with our server or network functions
4. Actions that may interfere with our service operations
5. Collecting or storing personal information about other users
6. Impersonating other users
7. Directly or indirectly providing benefits to anti-social forces in connection with our services
8. Any other actions we deem inappropriate

Article 5 (Suspension of Service)

We may suspend or interrupt all or part of our Services without prior notice to users if we determine any of the following circumstances:

1. When performing maintenance or updates on computer systems for our Services
2. When service provision becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
3. When computers or communication lines stop due to accidents
4. When we determine that providing the service is difficult for other reasons

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

We are exempt from liability for breach of obligations except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on our part.

Article 7 (Changes to Service Content)

We may change or discontinue the content of our Services without notifying users and bear no responsibility for any damages incurred by users as a result.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

We may change these Terms at any time without notifying users when we deem it necessary.

Article 9 (Notifications)

Notifications or communications between users and us shall be conducted according to our specified method.

Article 10 (Prohibition of Rights Transfer)

Users may not transfer or provide as collateral their position under the usage contract or rights or obligations under these Terms to third parties without our prior written consent.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be interpreted under Japanese law. Any disputes related to our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our head office location.
